An unexpected and delightful surprise brought by this local café! The pastries are impressive, especially the lemon tart, which has a lovely citrus filling with a perfectly balanced sweetness and tartness. As a neighborhood bakery, their croissants and other pastries hold up surprisingly well compared to more well-known pastry shops. Definitely worth a visit for anyone looking for quality pastries right around the corner!
Nice and quietish cafe. Food was decent. They offered 10% off with cash (: There's not many that offer that now.
Local hidden gem! Great food and great coffee. They even freshly make all their pastries in the morning. Highly recommend
Look so simple and humble but this hot cross bun is so far the BEST one I can find in my area… thank you so much Stonemill for such heart warming food in my daily life! Can’t believe that all pastries are homemade by Stonemill Chefs! Thumbs up! Plus omg.. the owners the staff and everyone there are simply beautiful and awesome! Life is beautiful because we have local cafes like this!
Awesome little spot, nicely tucked away in a quiet street with plenty of parking! A true hidden gem, very nice owners, and super friendly staff. Really enjoyed the butter croissant! And the Dutch pastry either sour cherries was exceptional! Cute doughnuts and a very very nice quiche Laurene available as well! Coffee is good. Seating comfy.
A wonderful cafe! Chocolate croissant and lemon tart are amazing. A great variety of cakes, pastries and macarons and everything is made in house. Great service, very cheerful people. We've been going regularly since we recently discovered it.
Have tried a lot of cafes in Sydney, this shop is still my all time favourite. They know how to make the perfect cup of coffee - from ingredients to technique. The owners and chef are very particular to details, have high standards for the food and beverages they serve. I love their flat white/cappuccino and almond croissant the most. They make the almond croissant in the traditional French style. I’m also happy to out other pastries every time I visit. And they never disappoint me! Their desserts and pastries are not too sweet. The flavours and textures are well balanced. Last but not least - great and sweet owner couple, friendly staff, plus clean environment and comfy atmosphere. Such a gem.
Our go-to local café just got even better! They've recently launched a new menu, and we tried the Vietnamese rice vermicelli bowl and Garlic Prawn Pesto Pasta today — absolutely plate-licking delicious! And the coffee? As always, spot on.
